ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

Environmental stewardship involves:
-
Presence to the natural world
-
Biophilia - the physiological benefits from nature
-
Your role and responsibility as part of the ecosystem
-
Eliminating waste
-
Eco-conscious living
In our modern world full of technology and indoor lifestyles, it’s easy to forget the ecosystems around us that make up this planet we call home, and how integral these systems are to our own lives.
The air we breathe, water we drink, and food we consume all come from the earth, but if we choose to pollute and disrupt the earth’s ecosystems we put our own health and survival (and that of other species) at risk.
Yet, we cannot truly care for something that we are not connected to, and re-developing our connection with the natural world is the first step to claiming our role as stewards of planet earth.
Together we can come up with new solutions to live in greater harmony and cooperation with the natural environment, but it starts with each individual choosing to be part of the solution instead of the problem.
